Lady Trenette Wilson aka Lady "T," is an author and well sought
after etiquette and urban teen expert who impacts the urban
community through her award winning debutante, leadership
and etiquette curricula for teens and young adults.
Lady "T," began her career as Director of the YWCA's Young
Parents Program and was later promoted to Director of Youth
Services for the YWCA of the Coastal Bend. After winning
several awards for her work in the field of adolescent
pregnancy prevention, Lady "T," moved on to become Director
of Program Services for the March of Dimes.
After serving in the nonprofit field for 15 years, Lady Wilson
stepped out on faith in 2005 and began her journey to impact
young men and women through etiquette. A member of Alpha
Kappa Alpha Sorority, Lady Wilson recognized the need for
social grace training in the urban community. She began by
developing the Ladies by Design Junior Debutante Course and
in 2011 formed the National Association of Urban Etiquette
Professionals (NAUEP). Under her leadership, NAUEP has
certified more than 100 etiquette professionals around the
world and impacted more than 10,000 youth through etiquette.
Lady Wilson is the author of 13 Junior Debutante and Etiquette
Curricula and books, she also serves as an etiquette columnist
and speaker for teen and women's events.
